SpeakEZ
When connecting with friends, it can be disruptive to request a song and launch a search for whoever’s phone is connected to the speaker. The SpeakEZ keeps them in one place, allows for charging, and prevents shaking due to bass boost. The SpeakEZ protects your speaker from buzzing off the table and makes it more visible, preventing your friends from knocking it over.

I designed this phone stand with myself as the user, allowing me to easily create an accurate user persona. I focused on the apps I use most often and where I find myself needing a place to rest my phone.
Having figured out the function I wanted to focus on through my user persona, my sketches and prototypes revolved around finding the form and scale.
